independant drums: Crescent Creek Church

Headed to LaPine, OR on 08.Oct.2011. to lead worship with Steve and Kathy Anderson and share testimony of how God healed Steve Anderson from a massive stroke on Easter morning in 2009.

Crescent Creek Church is a small community church lead by Pastor Greg Price, great people attend and seems that they are a close knit family, as the body of Christ should be. It was such a blessing to lead worship here, the people really seemed to enjoy the service and got involved in singing and worshiping. The way the sanctuary is set up is nice, the music team sets up in the middle of the room on the floor level and the chairs surround the music team, to ensure that there is no one is greater than another, and we all worship together on the same level. This was the first time I've experienced this setup and actually think it's awesome. Would love to do this again. It was great to be down with the rest of the people and not up on display on a stage looking down on everyone else. I believe that people were challenged and people were blessed. Steve has come a long way and every worship service gets better and better, what a testimony to see a man that God raised up and saved to use for His purpose in encouraging and challenging people in their faith and walk with God, we don't get to that place by not doing anything. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God, and Faith without works is DEAD... God is moving, let's follow!
